With the aim of keeping members "in touch", particularly those who are unable to attend meetings very often, each issue includes a summary of all meetings held since the previous issue - brief synopses of lectures, full reports of Shows, etc. Also included is information on future meetings and other events, significant news of members, plus short articles supplied by members. Where possible, articles and reports are illustrated with full colour photographs.

Production of Top Orchid is something of a labour of love for our Editor, Allan Burdis, who slaves for hours over a hot keyboard to create a very professional publication much valued by all members. One of Allan's regular battles is obtaining enough material to fill each issue, without having to write much of it himself! Members are therefore urged to offer articles for publication; just have a word with Allan at the next meeting, or email him at . |
